Fast-track graduate development programme.

THORPE PARK can offer fast-track career opportunities to graduates in a variety of areas.

The programme covers two years. Year one gives you a broad overview of the whole business, through a structured development course combining learning events (including such topics as people management, commercial awareness, team building, financial awareness and presentation skills) with specific on-the-job experience. You will also complete one or two placements where you will work within another function or location for several months.

In year two, you will focus on a particular function. At this stage, your development will concentrate on team leadership, through a combination of internal and external learning events. After this, you will be eligible to apply for a management position.

Your starting role will be equivalent to a team-leader level, thereby enabling you to put your ”off-the-job” training into practice immediately. Throughout your programme, you will of course receive constant support. Your line manager will be on-hand to oversee your day-to-day performance, answer any questions, conduct your three-month review and annual appraisal. In addition to which, you will have a senior manager as a mentor, with whom you will meet regularly to focus on your career development.

All graduates also meet each other regularly, to share knowledge and experiences whilst offering each other support and feedback. Finally, your own learning and development team is available to advise you on any attraction-specific training opportunities.

Who can apply?
